Women's Golf Sixth After Day One of Cardinal Classic

YORKTOWN, Ind. - Four Falcons finished day one of the Cardinal Classic in the top-25 to place the Bowling Green State University women's golf team in sixth-place with an 18-hole score of 314. Ferris State leads the tournament with a 303, followed by Butler and Ball State, both posting a 304.
Kari Liggett (38-40) and Jessica McCann (38-40) both posted team-lows of 78, placing them in a tie for 18th. Lindsey Jonkhoff (42-37) and Amanda Bader (38-41) are both tied for 25th after posting 79's. The final Falcons, Carley Hrusovsky (39-45), shot an opening 84, placing her in 53rd, among the 82 competitors.
The final 36 holes will be completed this afternoon in Yorktown, Indiana.
