"I thought it was a very poorly played first half by us, and a very well played second half by us. I was really proud of our guys the way they battled, but you know when we don't come out and play the way we're capable of playing or the desire that we have to have, we get beat. We got pounded in the first half and I told the kids at halftime that I'm not going down without a fight and we fought, but unfortunately for us we weren't able to overcome. Buffalo deserved to win."
Comment on the play you got from Patrick Phillips
"I thought he was great. I got tired of all the other guys coming over looking like they were scared, he came in and was fantastic. I'm really happy for him, I hope he can come back on Thursday and play again. He's been great in practice, he's worked hard and for some of our other guys the game was too fast for them but for Pat it wasn't and I thought he was a real spark. We weren't getting a bucket because no one else would move against the zone, Pat did, got some shots and got us going. I thought his defense was good, too."
John Floyd on Patrick Phillips second half spark
"Pat was given an opportunity by Coach (Dakich) and I think he seized the moment. Pat brings it everyday in practice, he comes out with the same energy everyday, it just carried over into the game for him tonight. I think he's a big reason why we were in the game tonight."
