Bowling Green Releases 2006 Schedule

BOWLING GREEN, Ohio - Falcon Baseball has announced its 2006 schedule. The Brown and Orange return 21 letterwinners from last season's 33-18 squad, including top returnees Alan Brech, Josh Stewart, Tyler Wasserman and Eric Lawson.
Bowling Green will start the 2006 campaign on the road with a three-game series against Murray State February 25-26. The Falcons will then travel to Dayton for a lone game against the Flyers before heading south for the spring break trip. While in Bradenton, Florida, BGSU will compete against:
--Northeastern (twice) --Duquesne --Mt. St. Mary's --Holy Cross (DH) --Valparaiso --St. Francis
The Falcons return to Dayton, Ohio for a battle with the Raiders of Wright State after spring break. Bowling Green faces a tough early season foe with a short bus ride upto Ann Arbor, Michigan to take on Michigan. The Brown and Orange will also be tested at #22 Notre Dame on April 26 where the Fighting Irish went 23-4-1 at home last season. Other non-conference foes this season include: Evansville, Youngstown State, Oakland, Heidelberg, Findlay, IPFW, Cleveland State, Xavier.
Mid-American Conference play for BGSU begins at Eastern Michigan on March 24. The Falcons MAC schedule contains nine separate three-game series:
