Falcons Begin Season With Tom Stubbs Relays

BOWLING GREEN, Ohio - The Swimming and Diving Falcons will kick-off the 2006-07 with the Tom Stubbs Relays at Cooper Pool. The BGSU divers will start the day at 11:00 a.m. while the swimmers will take to the water at 5:00 p.m. Eastern Michigan, Akron and Youngstown State will also compete in the relays.
"We are excited to get the season started and see what our freshman can do,' said fifth year head coach Keri Buff.
The following day, the Orange and Brown will host the Alumni meet at 10:00 a.m.
The regular season will begin for the Falcons on October 21 as they travel south to the University of Cincinati. BGSU finished the 2005-06 season fourth at the Mid-American Conference Tournament. The finish was the second highest under Buff's tenure.
