Falcons Looks to Extend 10-Match Win Streak With a Pair of Home Matches

BOWLING GREEN, Ohio - The Falcons will host a pair of MAC opponents inside Anderson Arena this weekend. First up for BGSU is a matchup against the Zips of Akron. UA has suffered three losses in a row, but have a contest at Miami Thursday night before heading to Bowling Green. The Zips are currently 7-10 overall.

The Buffalo Bulls enter "the house that roars" on Saturdat afternoon. UB is one of the most improved teams in the conference, posting a solid 12-8 overall record thus far.
Going the Distance
The Bowling Green State University volleyball team extended their current win streak to 10 matches after a five-game thriller in DeKalb, Illinois against Northern Illinois. The Falcons dominated the fifth game by hitting .700 and winning 15-5.
Falcons Making National Noise
BGSU can be found all over the national statistical rankings. The Falcons are ranked 14th in kills (16.61/game) and15th in assists (15.26/game) and hitting percentage (.284). Bowling Green's .875 winning percentage is the 13th highest in the nation.
Hottest Team in the MAC
Bowling Green has ripped off ten consecutive wins. During the stretch, the Falcons are hitting a blistering .311 while suffocating the opposing attack by holding them to a .140 hitting pace.
SWAT Team
Sophomore Kendra Halm and Junior Stephane Swiger are the top two blockers in the conference, rejecting opponents attacks at a 1.36 and 1.32 blocks per game pace, respectively. Bowling Green's 2.83 team blocks per game reigns supreme in the conference as well.
