Cleveland, Ohio - Sophomore wide receiver Corey Partridge was named MAC East Co-Offensive Player of the Week after his 14-catch, 161-yard, 1-TD effort against Toledo.
He is the fifth Falcon to earn MAC Player of the Week accolades joining Freddie Barnes (Wisconson) on offense, Kenny Lewis (Miami) on special teams, and Jerett Sanderson (FIU) and Diyral Briggs (Ohio) on defense as Falcons who were honored this season. All five will return next season.
Partridge's 14 catches tied the school record set by Robert Redd in 2002 against Northern Illinois. His 161 yards bested his previous career best of 160 set last season against Wisconsin.
He finished third in the MAC in receptions per game (5.5) rating 24th in the country and was fifth in receiving yards averaging 65.8 yards per game.
