Swimming and Diving Falcons To Travel To OSU Invitational

BOWLING GREEN, Ohio - The Bowling Green Swimming and Diving Falcons (0-3-0) will spend the upcoming weekend in Columbus at the Ohio State University Invitational. The Invitational will feature nine women's squads with ties to six conferences.
Coach Keri Buff's water Falcons will challenge Arkansas, Denver, Iowa, South Carolina, host Ohio State and Utah in the pool. High above the water the Falcons will face Alabama, No. 24 Arizona State, Arkansas, Denver, Iowa and Ohio State in the diving events.
The Invitational will begin Friday, Dec. 1 at 11:00 a.m. as the swimming preliminary competition begins. The Invitational will conclude on Sunday, Dec. 3 with the final diving events commencing at noon and the final swimming competition beginning at 3:00 p.m.

SCOUTING THE SWIM COMPETITION BY CONFERENCE
Big Ten Conference
University of Iowa Hawkeyes
Posted an early win in the Missouri Dual Meet Challenge before dropping two losses to Minnesota and Michigan State. Most recently, the Hawkeyes picked up the victory over Emory.
Ohio State University Buckeyes
The Buckeyes have wins over Illinois and Toledo. Their only loss of the season came against rival Michigan.
Mountain West Conference
University of Utah Utes
Utah is undefeated after four meets. The Utes have beat Denver, UC San Diego, UNLV and San Diego.
South Eastern Conference
University of Arkansas Lady Razorbacks
After losing to South Carolina, Nebraska, LSU and Georgia, the Lady Razorbacks picked up a recent win over Emory.
University of South Carolina Gamecocks
South Carolina currently holds a 3-4 record with wins over Arkansas, Georgia Tech and the Savannah College of Art & Design. Conversely, they have been upended by Georgia, Kentucky, Tennessee and Clemson.
Sun Belt Conference
University of Denver Pioneers
The Pioneers enter the meet with four losses to Rice, Utah, Wyoming and Colorado State.
FALCONS NOTES
Freshman Frankie Houck earned her first collegiate individual win in the 50 freestyle as she finished in 24.73 against Ball State... She also was a member of the victorious 200 medley relay...Alisha Yee also added yet another top score for the Falcons in the 400 back...Caroline Keating posted an additional two quickest times in the 1000 and the 500 free events...Ashley Belrose was the highest placing Falcon off the 3-meter board with her third place score.
