"I thought it was a pretty good hockey game for both teams being on the Christmas break. Some of the passes were off, but both teams competed, and I like the way our team stayed with it. What we saw there was their ability to find a way to win hockey games. I gave a lot of credit it to them. They are a top team for a reason."
Jimmy Spratt looked real strong tonight.
"Over the last four or five hockey games Jimmy has been getting into a grove. I thought he was very sharp tonight. He was tight on some power play chances. He played pretty composed."

"We have struggled to score, there is no question about that. We are coming off a nine goal effort versus Fairbanks and I was hoping that would carry over, but this is a real difficult team to score goals against. They have solid goaltending and defense and the depth that they have at the forward position they have the puck a lot. We just weren't able to get enough chances in tight."
