Brown Beats Orange in Intersquad Meet

BOWLING GREEN, Ohio - In the first meet of the season, the annual Orange and Brown meet, Brown flew past the orange 60-49 to be the meet champions.
Jamie Roflow was in full form as she broke the school record in the 2,000-meters with a time of 6:32. She broke the 20-year-old record of Jill Sosteer.
Other highlights of the evening include Lauren Bryant's new personal-record in the weight throw, throwing 16.23-meters. Nicole Standback won the 60-meter hurdles while Jessica White won the 60-meter dash. Newcomer Carly Bates won the 1000-meters with a time of 2:58 while Takarra Dunning won the shotput and Crystal Burage won the 300-meters.
The team voted on the Falcons of the meet and for the Brown team it was Erica Wilson and Carly Bates and for the Orange team it was Crystal Burage.
