Lichtensteiger Named Preseason All-American

Bowling Green, Ohio - Redshirt junior left guard Kory Lichtensteiger was named honorable mention preseason All-American by NATIONALCHAMPS.NET. Lichtensteiger, a native of Van Wert and a graduate of Crestview High School is one of 13 MAC players to receive preseason recognition by the website.
Lichtensteiger is a two-time All-MAC selection who also was a Freshman All-American in 2004.
Other MAC players honored included NIU RB Garrett Wolfe (2nd team) and OL Doug Free (3rd team), CMU DE Daniel Bauzin (3rd team), Ohio RB Kalvin McRae (HM), Miami WR Ryne Robinson (HM), EMU PK Andrew Wellock (HM), EMU DE Kevin Howe (HM), Toledo LB MIke Alston (HM), WMU LB Ameer Ismail (HM), Ohio LB Matt Muncy (HM), Akron LB Brion Stokes (HM), and Ball State P Chris Miller.
