The Orange and Brown (13-9, 2-5) will host Northern Illinois University (4-16, 0-6) on Friday afternoon when they recognize senior co-captains Andrea Meister and Heidi Romer at the last regular season home match. The match against the Huskies will begin at 1:00 p.m.
As Falcons, Meister and Romer have combined for 242 wins to date.
"They have been truly amazing since they came in," said a choked-up coach Penny Dean. "Both are such fighters and have improved since they came in. They are the reason we have had such a great season and have overachieved."
Meister owns 103 of the wins and is ranked ninth on the All-Time Career Doubles wins list. She is also the highest-ranking current Falcon with 66 career doubles wins.

"I wish I had her for one more year," said Dean. "She is really hitting her peak and she is one of our most improved players due to her work ethic which has grown over the years."
"I am not one to give out individual awards, and she is the only player I have ever given an attitude award to." In 2002, Dean had a plaque constructed for Meister to reward her for her attitude as a Falcon.
Romer enters the match with 133 career wins, which ranks her eighth overall among all Falcons. The senior also ranks second in career singles wins (78) and eleventh in career doubles wins (55).
"Heidi is always mentally tougher than her opponent," said Dean. "She is in the Top Three players I have coached with that ability and it is not a trait that can be taught. Had she not been hurt last season she would have broken the career win record months ago."

The Falcons will send off the set of decorated seniors when the Huskies of Northern Illinois visit Bowling Green. The Huskies have yet to find a win the Mid-American Conference but have picked up six points in as many matches. The closest match came in a narrow 4-3 loss to Akron.
"The strength is in the top of their line-up," said Dean. The Falcons will face current MAC Player of the Week Jenny Edner, who as a freshman has been the shining star in the Huskies line-up.
Upon the completion of the regular season, the falcons will set their sites on the MAC Championships beginning April 27 in Oxford.
"We have had a lot of close matches," said Dean. "We are ready to gain a momentum shift to carry into the MAC Tournament."
"It's been a good week of practice and we are anxious to hit the courts again."
