Two Falcons Receive Preseason Honors From The Sporting News

Bowling Green, Ohio - Bowling Green State University offensive linemen Kory Lichtensteiger and Derrick Markray were recognized as two of the top returning players in the nation at their respective positions by the Sporting News.

Lichtensteiger, a junior, was rated as the 12th best center in the country. Markray, a fifth-year senior, was slotted as the 19th best guard in college football.

Both players were named Preseason All-MAC by the publication and were second-team All-League selections in 2005.
