Bowling Green, Ohio - BGSU Interim Deputy Director of Athletics Janna Blais has announced that Aaron Hillmann, head strength and conditioning coach since 2001, has had his title changed to Director of Strength and Conditioning effective immediately.
"Aaron is one of the best in the country at what he does and this title change best reflects his role within our athletic program," added Blais.
Hillmann has overseen the strength and conditioning program for all 18 sports at BGSU and supervises one full-time assistant, one part-time assistant and two graduate assistants. This winter, his area will be housed in the newly built Sebo Athletic center and will be 9,300 square feet and feature a turf area for warmup, speed and agility, a significant number of new machines and a larger area for free weight.
"My family and I love the community and enjoy the hands-on relationship that I get to have with our student athletes," said Hillmann. "Our administration and coaching staff have been extremely supportive of this area and I am very excited about the future with the completion of the Sebo Athletic Center."
He and his wife, Dina, have two sons, Jacob and Jonah, and a daughter, Skylar.
