BOWLING GREEN, Ohio (AP) -Julian Edelman ran for one touchdown and threw for another and Kent State beat Bowling Green 38-3 on Saturday for its second straight victory after losing 11 in a row.
Edelman threw a 5-yard touchdown pass to Brian Bell to give the Golden Flashes a 14-0 in the second quarter and ran for a score from 2 yards out later in the quarter to build the lead to 21-3.
He finished 14-of-22 passing for 141 yards and had five carries for 24 yards.
Shawn Bayes had a 79-yard touchdown run for Kent State (2-2, 2-0 Mid-American Conference) and Gary Ham returned a fumble 36 yards for a score, one of six turnovers by Bowling Green (2-2, 1-1).
The Falcons' only score came on a 31-yard field goal by Sean Ellis.
Chris Bullock rushed for 99 yards on 17 carries for Bowling Green.
