KALAMAZOO, Mich. (AP) --Ali Mann scored 21 points and Kate Achter scored 19, leading No. 16 Bowling Green to a 90-62 victory over Western Michigan on Wednesday night.
The victory extended the Falcons' winning streak in Mid-American Conference play to 32 games, a league record.
Bowling Green (17-2, 7-0) has won 10 straight overall and they are tied for the best start in school history. They haven't lost since Dec. 19 against top-ranked Duke.
Mann moved into third place on the Falcons' career scoring list with 1,587 points. She also had a team-high five assists.
Bowling Green, which ranks 11th nationally in scoring defense at 53.8 points per game, scored 31 points off 25 Broncos turnovers. A 17-point run in the first half helped the Falcons take a 50-31 halftime lead.
Carrie Moore, the leading scorer in the nation at 25.5 points per game, scored a game-high 24 points for Western Michigan (8-13, 1-6). Tiera DeLaHoussaye had a game-high 10 assists.
Lindsey Brown had nine rebounds as the Broncos outrebounded the Falcons, 30-27.
Achter, a junior guard, scored her first career 3-pointer for Bowling Green. Megan Thorburn added 15 points and Carin Horne had 11.
