Swimming and Diving Complete Day One at OSU Invitational

COLUMBUS, Ohio - Bowling Green State University finished day one of the Ohio State Invitational in 7th place out of 13 teams, earning 72 points. The Orange and Brown had a total of 6 swimmers competing in the 3 final individual events and teams swimming in both final relays.
Leading the way for the Falcons was junior Alisha Yee, who finished the 200 IM in 7th place with a new personal best of 2:05.38. Her previous best time was 2:06.16
Also contributing was the team of Yee, Sami Jordan, Frankie Houck and Carrie Enright. They took 7th place in the 200 yard free relay with a time of 1:37.16.
Houck, a sophomore, also set a personal best swimming the 50 free in 24.31, besting her prior time by one, one-hundredth of a second.
The Invitational continues tomorrow (12/1) at Bill and Mae McCorkle Aquatics Pavilion, with swimming preliminaries at 10:00 a.m. and diving preliminaries at 1:00 p.m. The finals for the day will be held at 5:00 p.m and 7:00 p.m. respectively.
