Yee Continues to Impress at OSU Invitational

COLUMBUS, Ohio - The Bowling Green State University swimming and diving team ended the second day of competition with 170.5 points, keeping them idle in 7th place .They sit only 6 points behind 6th place Illinois.
Junior Alisha Yee set two more personal best as she swam the 100 fly in 56.80, shaving over a second of her prior best of 58.03. She earned 13 points for the Falcons as she placed 6th in the event. Yee also swam to a personal best in the 100 back as she took 9th place with a 56.79 time. Her prior best was 56.86.
The Orange and Brown posted a top eight relay time as well. The team of senior Christina Vaca, junior Sami Jordan, and freshmen Liz Harper and Carrie Enright picked up an 8th place nod in the 200 medley relay in the first event of the evening. They finished the relay in 1:46.93.
The Falcons will look to finish the Invitational strong, as it concludes tomorrow afternoon. Preliminaries are scheduled to begin at 9:00 a.m. with finals at 3:00 p.m.
