From Dec. 17-20 the Bowling Green State University football team has been volunteering their time with many of the local schools around the city of Bowling Green (and one in Findlay), spreading their Christmas cheer. In total the Falcons will visit 11 different schools, as well as spend time with the local Cub Scouts and Kiwanis Club.
Schools the Falcons have, or plan to volunteer at include, Kenwood Elementary, Conneaut Elementary, Crim Elementary, Ridge Elementary, Milton Elementary, BG Junior High, Bowling Green High School, Montessori School, BG Christian Academy and St. Aloysius School.
The Falcons spent time reading books to the kids, talk about the importance of reading, taking responsibility and sit and talk with the kids during lunch.
