Bowling Green Defeats Morehead State, 90-72

MOREHEAD, Ky. (AP) - Martin Samarco made 22 points as Bowling Green shot a season-high 60 percent from the field in a 90-72 win over Morehead State on Saturday.
The Falcons (12-14) jumped out to a 10-2 lead and never looked back. Bowling Green led 44-24 at the half and extended the advantage to 73-42 with 9:52 left.
Morehead State (11-15) had one final run. The Eagles got a bucket from Vincent Crutcher with 2:02 to get within 86-70.
Bowling Green hit 33-for-55 from the field and 10-of-17 3-point attempts. Bowling Green's Nate Miller added 19 while Erik Marschall chipped in with 18.
For Morehead State, Jamyron Steward finished with 14. Shaun Williams and Brandon Callahan each had 10 points.The Eagles hit 22 of 56 (39.3 percent) from the field. Bowling Green outrebounded Morehead State 36-28.
