Wristband Sales Support The Falcon Club Scholarship Endowment

Working together is key to accomplishing great things! Two campus partners, the BGSU Bookstore and the Falcon Club just completed a two year collaborative project that resulted in a win/win situation for Falcon student-athletes. The Falcon Club Advisory Board approached the BGSU Bookstore with a fundraising idea to spin the popular wristband interest by creating an orange wristband to support Falcon Athletics. Taking the idea, Yvonne Stoner, Merchandising Manager of the BG Bookstore, researched the wristbands and purchased them in bulk for sale in their stores. Multiple reorders later, this has resulted in over $8000 being raised for the Falcon Club Scholarship Endowment, supporting the education of student athletes. In the meantime, thousands of BG students, faculty, and staff sport the trendy orange wristbands imprinted with "BGSU Falcons" and spread the Falcon pride.
