Salsburg and Co. To Host Summer Softball Clinics

BOWLING GREEN, Ohio - Head softball coach Shannon Salsburg has announced three June dates for summer clinic sessions that will focus on hitting, defensive fundamentals and lefty slapping techniques. The sessions will be divided into general clinics for grades 1-8 in the morning and advanced sessions for high school players only in the afternoon.
Hitting sessions will be held June 11 and will focus on technique and consistency as well as discussing bunting.
The June 13 defensive session will hone in on skills such as throwing, fielding fundamentals and position play.
The third session will address Southpaw slapping techniques with the sole focus on slapping and bunting as a left-handed batter.

In 2007 BGSU scored 210 runs from 317 hits and finished with a conference high 47 homeruns. Defensively, the Falcons posted a .962 fielding percentage. Their 33-12 record was four wins shy of tying last season's win record of 37.
