Dunning, Roflow and Bryant Compete at NCAA Mid-East Regionals

COLUMBIA, Mo. - Three Falcons competed at the 2007 NCAA Mid-East Regional Championships this past weekend. Juniors Jamie Roflow and Lauren Bryant as well as sophomore TaKarra Dunning were the trio to compete for the Orange and Brown. It was a rough weekend for the team battling injury and illness.
Dunning was the first to compete on Friday, in the shot put. She finished 17th on the day with a throw of 46-07.50. Day two saw Lauren Bryant compete in the discus. She threw 140-09 to finish 20th in her first ever NCAA Mid-East Regional Championship. Roflow was the final competitor for the Falcons and ran the 3,000-meter steeplechase in a time of 11:00.85 to finish 23rd.
