BOWLING GREEN, Ohio - The 2007 Falcon Bash occurred Saturday on the campus of Bowling Green State University. The event kicked off with golf outings at both Forrest Creason Golf Course and Stone Ridge Golf Club beginning at noon and concluded with a reception and dinner held at the Perry Field house.
Guests of the event joined numerous Falcon student-athletes, coaches and staff members for lunch, a round of golf, gifts and plenty of camaraderie. Following the golf outing, Falcon Bash moved to the Perry Field House for autograph and photo sessions with coaches, players, Freddie and Frieda, cheerleaders and former BGSU football coach and national champion, Urban Meyer. The BGSU pep band and dance team also performed at the reception.
Next up was the Champions Dinner. The dinner was emceed by Jerry Anderson and the keynote speaker was Coach Meyer. Everyone in attendance enjoyed traditional BBQ, festivities, entertainment and prizes. Silent and live auctions featuring outstanding packages also highlighted the event.
