Falcon Baseball To Hold Walk-On Tryouts On Monday

BOWLING GREEN, Ohio - The Bowling Green State University baseball team and head coach Danny Schmitz would like to extend an invitation for all students interested in being a member of the Falcon baseball squad for the 2007-08 academic year, to attend its walk-on tryouts. Tryouts will be held Monday, Sept. 3, at 10 a.m. at Warren Steller Field.

To be eligible for the tryouts, students must currently be enrolled at BGSU and must come with proof of insurance to walk-on registration. Registration will take place on Thursday, Aug. 30, at 2:30 p.m. at Steller Field.

Interested students will be asked to sign a waiver prior to the workout and are also asked to come equipped to play the day of the workouts (appropriate attire and equipment).
