In addition to the new Sebo Athletic Center and FieldTurf installation, several aspects of Doyt L. Perry Stadium will be given a new modern look with state-of-the-art graphic enhancements around the stadium, ready for view this fall.
"Enhancing the overall look for our facilities is a top priority," said Greg Christopher, Assistant V.P./Director of Athletics. "When student-athletes, recruits and fans enter our venues, we want them to know that they are part of a first-class institution that has a rich tradition. Each facility should have a distinct "BG feel" to it. We started our graphics plans at Perry Stadium because of The Doyt's visibility as people enter campus and the crowds it hosts. Over time, we expect to touch our other facilities. We'll also add more to Perry Stadium, especially recognition for Coach Perry himself."
When entering the Sebo Athletic Center fans will be welcomed by a 22-foot high mural, featuring the past and present of BGSU Athletics. All 18 sports will be featured, including action shots from the 1984 National Hockey Championship, to last year's Sweet-16 run by the BGSU women's basketball program.
Outside the stadium will feature several banners displaying athletic accomplishments, signage and donor recognition, but that is not all.
The elevator shaft on the east side of the stadium will feature a 37-foot mural featuring some of the recent Falcon standouts, including Omar Jacobs, Scott Mruczkowski and P.J. Pope. This graphic enhancement will be clearly visible to onlookers from I-75 as they pass through Bowling Green, Ohio.
Inside the stadium, a bright orange sign saying "Welcome To The Doyt" will be featured on the east side of the stadium, directly below the suites. Also, new way-finding signage along with updated concession stands will be featured throughout Doyt Perry Stadium.
Please see the PDF's at the top of the page for visuals of the graphic enhancements.

"Forty Nine Degrees is one of the premiere graphics firms in the nation," said Assistant A.D. for Internal Affairs Jim Elsasser. "They have a great portfolio of work throughout the college athletic landscape. We are excited about the enhancements to the stadium and Sebo Athletic Center."
Funding for the projects is coming from a combination of sources: The Sebo graphics are part of the larger Sebo Center project, while the Perry Stadium work is being paid for via a combination of sponsor revenue and a portion of the cancellation fee from the Florida International football game.
The work is scheduled to be completed by the home opener on Sept. 22 versus Temple.
