Falcon Golfers 11th After First Round

INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. - At the end of day one, senior Jessica McCann leads the 10th place Falcons after shooting a 74 at the MAC Preview at Brickyard Crossing in Indianapolis, Ind.
McCann led off the first nine holes going 2-under at the turn. Staying fairly consistent, McCann carded a 40 on the back nine for an 18-hole total of 74. Her score currently puts her in a tie for 11th place.
Trailing McCann is fellow senior Carley Hrusovsky. In 18-holes, Hrusovsky managed to put together a final score of 80 (40, 40). She is joined by teammate Amanda Bader at 8-over. Bader shot a 40 on the front nine and repeated her work on the back nine to complete the round.
Freshman Lauren Glew posted an 81 in today's round. Glew is competing again this week as an individual, as she shot a 40 on the front nine and shot a 41 on the back.
DeOnna Anderson posted an 84 (39, 45) in her third collegiate round. Sophomore Hannah Lambert trails Anderson by one stroke going into the final round (43, 42).
The Falcons will wrap up competition tomorrow at the Brickyard Crossing before traveling to Penn State for the Nittany Lion Invitational on Sept. 30.
