Falcon Goaltender Jimmy Spratt Featured On InsideCollegeHockey.com

(BGSUFalcons.com) - Bowling Green State University junior goaltender Jimmy Spratt was recently featured on InsideCollegeHockey.com as part of its "A to Z 2007-08 Preview".
The Chesterfield, Mich. native was named the Falcons Most Improved Player for 2006-07, as this season he will be looked upon to be the main workhorse between the pipes once again.
Last season Spratt played in 31 games, starting in net in 30, as he finished with a 3.64 goals against average and a .886 save percentage. He helped lead the Falcons to upset wins late in the year over both Michigan and Michigan State, as he gave up just three combined goals in the two games.
Spratt and the Falcons will kick-off their season on Fri., Oct. 12 when they host Windsor in exhibition play. Their regular-season schedule will then start with a trip to New York, as they'll face Niagara on Thurs., Oct. 18 and conclude the opening weekend with a match-up against former Falcon captain,Wayne Wilson and his Rochester Institute of Technology (RIT) Tigers on Fri., Oct. 19.
