BOWLING GREEN, Ohio (AP) -- Tyler Sheehan passed for three scores and ran for another to lead Bowling Green past Western Kentucky 41-21 on Saturday.
Sheehan completed 31-of-42 passes for 270 yards and his touchdown passes covered 5 yards to Freddie Barnes, 3 yards to Corey Partridge and 15 yards to Marques Parks. Sheehan also ran a yard to open the scoring for the Falcons (3-1).
P.J. Mahone intercepted two passes for Bowling Green.
Western Kentucky (3-2) rushed for 311 yards, with Tyrell Hayden gaining 121 on 18 carries and quarterback K.J. Black adding 107 on 14. Black completed 14-of-23 passes for 102 yards but was intercepted four times.
The Falcons ran off the first 24 points before Western finally broke through midway through the third quarter.
