Falcons in 14th After Day Two of LPGA International

DAYTONA BEACH, Fla. - The Bowling Green State University women's golf team carded a 36-hole score of 648 (329-319) to sit in 14th at the 2008 LPGA International, hosted by Xavier University. Yale leads the event with a score of 601.
The Falcons have been led by junior Hannah Lambert. Lambert opened with a respectable 79, but out-did herself on Saturday afternoon, carding a 74. She is currently in a tie for 19th.
Megan Gormley, who is currently in a tie for 44th, opened with an 84, but rebounded nicely on day two, firing a 77.
Also competing for the Orange and Brown are Marisa Glew (164, T-58th), Magen Bader (173, 72nd), Lauren Glew (176, T-74th) and Paula DiFrancesco (166, T-65th). DiFrancesco is competing as an individual.
A total of 78 golfers are competing in the three day event.
The third and final round will begin on Sunday (Oct. 12).
