YEE NAMED MAC PLAYER OF WEEK
Senior Corbie Yee was named MAC Player of the Week, the league office announced on Monday (Oct. 13) ... she earns the honor for the first time this season and the third time in her Falcon career ... SIX MORE NOTES ON #6
• Senior Corbie Yee is only the second Falcon player to earn the MAC P-O-W award three times in a career ... Kristy Coppes, the leading scorer in school history, also earned the honor three times in her storied BG tenure.
• Yee's goal on Friday (Oct. 10) vs. Ball State was the ninth game-winning goal of her career ... she moved ahead of Samantha Meister (8 GWG from 2002-05) into second place on that BG career list ... Coppes holds that record with 14 GWG.
• The goal was Yee's fourth career 'Golden Goal,' setting a new BGSU record ... Meister held the old mark, with three OT goals during her stellar career.
• The Berea, Ohio, native now has 18 career goals ... she moved past Britt Anderson (16 from 2002-05), and is now tied with Michelle Lisy (1997-2000) for fifth place on that BGSU list.
• Yee now has 47 points to rank eighth in school history ... she trails Lisy and Tracy Gleixner (1998-2002) by just one point, and is only two points in back of fifth-place Anderson on that BG chart.
• Yee, the Falcons' active career scoring leader, is also BGSU's 2008 scoring leader, pacing the current team in goals (five) and points (12).
GREAT STARTS
The Falcons' 9-3-3 record marks the best 15-game start in school history ... BGSU's 4-1-1 MAC ledger is the best record in history through six conference contests ... the 2002 and 2005 teams both were 4-2-0 after six MAC matches.
OFFENSE? CHECK
The Falcons have scored a total of 31 goals through 15 games this year, having topped the total for all of last season ... the 2007 club scored 28 goals in 22 matches ... in fact, with 2.07 goals per game to date, this year's team is on pace to challenge the school record ... the 1998 Falcons had 2.10 gpg.
DEFENSE? CHECK
The BGSU defense, not to be outdone by the offense, is on a school-record pace ... the Falcons have allowed just nine goals through 15 games, an average of only 0.60 gpg surrendered ... the school-record low is 1.30 gpg allowed, by both the 2005 and 2006 BG teams.
ANOTHER GAME, ANOTHER SHUTOUT
Sunday's win over Miami marked the 11th shutout of the year for the BGSU defense, a new school record ... the 2006 team had 10 shutouts ... the shutout of the RedHawks was the Falcons' ninth in the last 10 games.
ANOTHER GAME, ANOTHER SHUTOUT II

ONE SHUTOUT STREAK AFTER ANOTHER
The Falcons saw a school record-tying streak of four consecutive shutouts come to an end with a 2-1 loss at Northern Illinois on Sept. 26 ... but, BGSU bounced back with another shutout win at Western Michigan two days later ... the Falcons then posted shutouts vs. Ohio, Akron, Ball State and Miami ... BGSU, after seeing a shutout streak of 425:34 (now the third longest in BG annals) end at NIU, now has blanked opponents for 556:22 since that time, a new school record ... the old record was 445:03, set in October of 2005 (coinciding with BG's first streak of four-straight shutouts).

• Arsenault now has 15 career shutouts ... she ranks third on that school list, trailing only Flanders (17 from 1999-2002) and Shingler (16 from 2001-05).
• Arsenault's 15 shutouts have come in just 28 career starts ... she has lowered her goals-against average to just 0.60 this season and 0.71 in her career.
• She has a GAA of only 0.31 in the six MAC games to date, having allowed just two goals in over 571 minutes vs. conference competition ... Arsenault and the Falcon defense have five shutouts in those six matches.
FROM A(MANN) TO Z(UCCARO) AND BACK AGAIN
Freshmen Megan Amann and Alyssa Zuccaro teamed up for a pair of goals in the Falcons' 4-0 win over Miami Sunday (Oct. 12) ... Zuccaro scored what would prove to be the game-winning goal, heading home Amann's corner kick ... then, in the second half, Zuccaro returned the favor, playing a cross to Amann, whose one-timer resulted in her first goal ... the assist was Zuccaro's first as a Falcon ... for both players, Sunday marked their first collegiate three-point game ... Amann and Zuccaro have seven points each, tied for the lead among BG newcomers.
FALCON COACH Andy Richards

BGSU is 9-4-5 in MAC Tournament matches during his tenure, and no MAC coach has as many trips to the league tourney's title game as Richards ... the 2007 season marked the fifth time he had guided a BG squad to the championship match ... two of those appearances - in 2004 and 2005 - resulted in MAC Tournament titles and trips to the NCAA Championships ... Richards and the Falcons also won the '05 regular-season crown ... BGSU reached an agreement with Richards on a two-year contract extension, it was announced May 23, 2008 ... his contract now runs through June 30, 2011 ...
