Falcons Lead Huskie Classic at Midway Point

DEKALB, Ill. - The Bowling Green State University women's golf team carded an 18-hole score of 317 on day one of the Huskie Classic to sit in first-place among the five team field. The Falcons lead Western Illinois (321), Northern Illinois (321), Loyola (327) and NIU's second team (333).
Leading the Orange and Brown was junior Megan Gormley, who recorded a 77 (40-37). She is currently in second-place, trailing Western Illinois' Jennifer Holt by two strokes.
Not far off the pace, sophomore's Megan Bader (41-38) and Lauren Glew (40-40) are tied for third and ninth respectively after 18 holes of action.
Also competing for the Falcons are Paula DiFrancesco (42-39--81, T-12th) and Marisa Glew (41-41--82, 18th).
Hannah Lambert, who is competing as an individual, is tied for 22nd with an 86 (42-44).
