Women's Golf Signs One to National Letter of Intent

BOWLING GREEN, Ohio - Bowling Green State University women's golf head coach Stephanie Young announced this afternoon (Apr. 10) that Paula DiFrancesco will be joining the Falcons for 2008-09 academic year.
"I am very excited to announce the addition of Paula DiFrancesco to our Falcon family," said Young. "She has tremendous athletic ability and is a tough competitor. I look forward to watching her transition into college golf and taking her game to an even higher level."
DiFrancesco, a current senior at Notre Dame Catholic High School in Burlington, Ontario, finished second at the 2007 Provincial Tour Championships with rounds of 70-76. The year prior she finished third in the same championship.
She has won three consecutive individual conference championships, is a four year team MVP, while also being ranked 47th in the 2007 Golf Association of Ontario Women's Rankings.
DiFrancesco also lettered in ice hockey, field hockey, baseball, track and field, badminton and competitive figure skating.
