Falcons Eighth at MAC Championships Following 54 Holes

INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. - The Bowling Green State University women's golf team currently sits in eighth-place at the Mid-American Conference Championships with a 54-hole score of 989. This afternoon the Falcons as a team shot 337.

BGSU was led by senior Jessica McCann, who carded an 81. She has led the Falcons in two of the three rounds at the MAC Championships this weekend. Through 54 holes the Mason, Ohio native has a score of 242 and currently sits in a tie for 21st.
Second on the team is senior Carley Hrusovsky. The North Canton, Ohio, native has a 54-hole score of 246 (83-79-84).
Also competing for the Orange and Brown this afternoon were Lindsey Jonkhoff (88), Lauren Glew (85) and Hannah Lambert (87). Jonkhoff sits in 32nd, while Glew and Lambert sit in T-34th and 40th respectively.
Sunday's round will start at 8 a.m., completing the 2008 MAC Championships. Playing in their final round as a Falcon will be McCann, Hrusovsky and Jonkhoff.
