Game One Against Miami
Game one of the double-header started off as a pitching duel with both teams kept scoreless in the first two innings.
The RedHawks struck first taking a 2-0 lead, as they scored two runs in the bottom of the third off of three hits and a Falcon error.
However, the Falcons fired right back in the top of the fourth scoring six runs of off four hits, three of which were from rookie sticks, and two RedHawk errors. Freshman Rachel Delp kept the rookie bats going with a single to center field scoring Boso, extending the Falcons lead, 4-2 over the RedHawks. Even after the Falcons had two outs they weren't done yet as Zada Lines drew a base-ob-balls and then Hayley Wiemer helped herself out with a single to left field to score Delp giving BG a three run lead, 5-2. The Falcons experienced some dejavu in the fourth inning as Vallas stepped up to the plate for the second time of the inning once again reaching on a RedHawk error, Miami's short-stop's throw went out of play allowing another Falcon run to cross the plate with BG taking a 6-2 lead.
The RedHawks would score their last run of the game off a one-run homer by Miami's Sarah Billstrom in the bottom of the fourth but that would be it for the RedHawks.
The score remained 6-3 as both teams were unable to score in the fifth or sixth inning, but the Falcons were able to score a pair of insurance runs in the top of the seventh.
After Miami's pitcher loaded the bases with three walks, DeLong stepped up to the plate ripping a double to right field scoring two more runs for the Orange and Brown, 8-3.
The Falcons held the RedHawks in the bottom of the seventh giving the RedHawks their first MAC loss of the season and recording their 50th win in program history over Miami.

Game Two Against Miami

The fourth inning would be the last time the Falcons would score as they added two more runs to their total. With one out Boso reached on an error and Delp sacrificed herself with a bunt to move Boso to second base bringing up the top of the line-up. DeLong stepped up to the plate and blasted a two-run homer over the left field wall, putting the Falcons ahead once again, 3-1.
