Women's Golf Seventh at Zippy Invitational

The Bowling Green State University women's golf team fired a 36-hole score of 655 on day one of the Zippy Invitational, hosted by the University of Akron. The Falcons are currently seventh among the 12-team field.
The Glew sisters led the Falcons on day one. Marisa Glew is currently in 11th after carding a 36-hole score of 156 (78-78). Her twin sister, Lauren, is tied for 18th with a 160 (78-82).
Also competing for the Orange and Brown were Megan Bader (169, T-48th), Megan Gormley (172, T-48th), Hannah Lambert (172, T-48th) and freshman Paula DiFrancesco (168, T-41st). DiFrancesco competed as an individual.
The third and final round begins Tuesday morning.
