BGSU to Travel to Marist for Final Preseason WNIT game

Falcons, Red Foxes to meet Saturday in Poughkeepsie
The Bowling Green State University women's basketball team will travel to Poughkeepsie, N.Y., for the final game of the 2009 Preseason WNIT. The Falcons will take on Marist College on Saturday (Nov. 21) at the McCann Center, with tipoff time to be determined.

Both the Falcons and the Red Foxes picked up home wins in the first round of the Preseason WNIT, before losing on the road in the quarterfinal round.
BGSU downed Chicago State, 76-41, in Friday's (Nov. 13) first round, before falling to third-ranked Ohio State, 91-72, Sunday afternoon (Nov. 15).
Marist picked up an 80-64 victory over North Carolina A&T on Friday evening, and dropped a 55-50 decision at West Virginia Monday evening (Nov. 16).
The Falcons, who won 29 games a year ago, will meet another 29-win team for the second consecutive game. The Red Foxes went 29-4 in 2008-09, winning the Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference (MAAC) regular-season and tournament titles and advancing to the NCAA Championships.
The start time for the BGSU-Marist game will likely be determined on Tuesday.
