BOWLING GREEN, Ohio (BGSUFalcons.com) - Syracuse University will be the Bowling Green State University women's basketball team's opponent on Sunday afternoon (March 22). The Orange picked up a 90-65 win over Canisius College in the first round of the Women's National Invitation Tournament Wednesday evening (March 18) to earn a trip to venerable Anderson Arena for the second round.

SU is now 17-14 on the season, and the Orange finished Big East Conference play with a 5-11 record. The Falcons of head coach Curt Miller will take a 28-4 overall mark into Sunday's game, and BGSU went 15-1 in Mid-American Conference play, winning the MAC's regular-season title for the fifth consecutive season.
