Women's Golf in 12th at Grand Prairie Classic

PEORIA, Ill. -
Through 18 holes of action the Bowling Green State University women's golf team sits in 12th at the Grand Prairie Classic, hosted by Bradley University in Peoria, Ill., with a score of 340. The tournament features a different format, having six golfers play, recording just the top four scores.
Missouri State (308) sits atop the team leaderboard and has a six-shot edge on second-place Drake (314). Bradley (317) is three shots behind the Bulldogs in third place 317 and hold a two-shot edge on fourth-place Indiana State (319). Western Illinois rounded out the top five at 321. Eastern Illinois is sixth overall (322) and is one shot ahead of seventh-place Northern Iowa (323).
Ohio finished the first day of play in eighth place at (325), with SIU Edwardsville (331) and Northern Illinois (333), finishing the day in ninth and 10th place, respectively. Loyola is 11th overall at 339 and holds a one-shot lead on Bowling Green (12th - 340). Chicago State and Wisconsin-Green Bay round out the field as the duo tied for 13th at 350.
Top finisher for the Orange & Brown was Hannah Lambert, who carded an 83 (42-41). She is tied for 35th among the 87-player field.
Junior Lauren Glew (43-42) and freshman Paula DiFrancesco (43-42) eached carded 85's to sit in a tie for 49th.
Marisa Glew (87), Megan Bader (88) and Megan Gormley (93) rounded out the Falcon scoring through day one.
Sunday's second round is expected to tee off around 9:30 a.m.
