Falcons Meet with Media to Discuss Costa Rica Trip

The Bowling Green State University women's basketball team once again was on the practice floor on Monday (Aug. 3), in preparation for the team's foreign tour to Costa Rica. The Falcons of head coach Curt Miller have 10 days of practice before leaving for the trip on Wednesday, Aug. 12.

On Monday, Miller and members of the team met with the local media to discuss the trip and the early start to the 2009-10 season. All 10 returnees, plus two NCAA Division-I transfers who sat out last season, took part in the practice and will make the trip. That group includes seniors Tara Breske, Laura Bugher, Sarah Clapper and Tamika Nurse; juniors Chelsea Albert, Maggie Hennegan, Tracy Pontius, Lauren Prochaska, Jen Uhl and Kelly Zuercher; and sophomores Maribeth Giese and Jessica Slagle.
