BGSU game notes
LAST TIME OUT
Bowling Green made its second trip out to Kentucky, this time to Lexington, to play the Kentucky Wildcats (No. 29, NCWBA) and scared UK twice in near comebacks. In their first two games with the Wildcats, the Falcons had the go-ahead run on base or at the plate in their last at bat. Unfortunately, the Falcons did not put enough runs on the board to complete either comeback with 5-2 and 4-3 losses on Friday (Feb. 26) and Saturday (Feb. 27). The Wildcats bested BGSU 10-4 in the series finale Sunday (Feb. 28).
THE COMPETITION

HALLOWEEN IN FEBRUARY?
In the first two series of the 2010 season, the Falcons may not have come away with a win but
they certainly have been a scare for some of the nation's top teams. Twice in the three-game series with Louisville (No. 19 NCBWA), the Falcons took a tie or a lead into the seventh inning before succumbing to 5-2 and 8-7 (F/10) losses, respectively. In the first two games with the Kentucky Wildcats (No. 29, NCBWA) the Falcons scored at least one run in the ninth inning and had the winning run either at the plate or on base before the final out was recorded, sending BGSU to losses in both instance.
