Head coach Curt Miller, entering his 10th season at BGSU, and his staff – associate head coach Jennifer Roos, assistant coaches Brandi Poole and Kevin Eckert and director of operations Monique Rosati – will be on hand, as will past and present members of the Falcon women's basketball program.
The outing consists of an 18-hole scramble format, and is divided into morning (registration at 7:15 a.m., shotgun start at 8:00 a.m.) and afternoon (registration at 12:15 p.m., shotgun start at 1:00 p.m.) sessions. Session preference is on a first come, first serve basis. A buffet lunch will be held from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m., while the evening social runs from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m.
Fivesomes will compete in three divisions: men's, women's and mixed. Division and contest winners will be announced at the evening social.
Individuals or corporations interested in sponsoring the event can become involved as hole or cart sponsors. Hole sponsorships are $100 apiece, while a cart sponsorship is $25.
The Falcon women's basketball team finished the 2009-10 campaign with an overall mark of 27-7 and a 14-2 Mid-American Conference record. BGSU won the MAC regular-season crown for the sixth consecutive year, and captured the MAC Tournament title to advance to the NCAA Championships for the fourth time in the last six years. A total of 10 letterwinners from that team are slated to return in 2010-11.
