"We are very excited that these nine young women have chosen to commit their futures to the BGSU soccer program," said Richards. "We look forward to getting to work with them upon their arrival on campus in August."
Adshade, a defender/midfielder, is a senior at DeKalb H.S. in DeKalb, Ill. A team captain as a junior, Adshade is preparing for her senior season this spring. A starter since her freshman season, she has earned all-sectional and all-conference honors in each of her first three seasons. Adshade led her club to the regional finals in each of her first three years, earning all-area second-team honors as a freshman and academic all-conference accolades in each of the last two years. She has played her club soccer with the Eclipse Select, helping that team to a national ranking of 13th in 2007. In 2010, Adshade was named the all-area player of the year. She also has Olympic Development Program (ODP) experience, having played with the Illinois state team in both 2008 and '09.
"The Bowling Green coaching staff is extremely excited to add Lindsey's strong defensive style of play and tremendous work-rate to the program," said Richards. "We are eager to watch her development as a college player."
Draper, a defender, is a senior at Perrysburg H.S. A co-captain in her senior year, she earned all-district and All-Northern Lakes League honors, helping the Yellow Jackets to a district championship and a trip to the regional finals. She also was an all-academic team selection. Draper has played her club ball for the Pacesetter Soccer Club, helping that team to state cup semifinal berths in each of the last three years.
"Kaylee will serve as a tremendous addition to the program," said Richards. "We anticipate that she will play a large role in the Falcon back line as an attacking style outside defender."

In the classroom, she is a National Honor Society member with a 3.88 GPA. In addition to soccer, she has competed in track and cross country at GHS. "The Falcon coaching staff is very excited to bring Ashley's determination and tenacity to the midfield," said Richards. "We expect her to be an integral part of the team."

She has played club ball for the Hershey Attack, PA Classics and Hershey KickKats, helping those teams to numerous honors, and also has ODP experience.
"The coaching staff looks to Leslie to bring skill and composure to the midfield," said Richards. "We expect her to play a large part in the future growth of the program."
Huth, a forward, attends Lebanon H.S. in Lebanon, Ohio. A four-year starter, she set a school single-season record for goals as a junior, then broke it as a senior, with 36 goals and 14 assists in that final season. She finished her career with a total of 83 goals, capping that career by earning first-team All-GWOC, all-district and all-state honors. She also earned a prestigious NSCAA Senior Excellence Award. Huth played club ball with Cincinnati United Premier where she scored 25 goals in the 2008-09 season. She also played for Ohio South ODP and was a Region II "B" Pool player in 2008.
"Sidney is a very dynamic addition to the BGSU program," said Richards. "She will add speed, tenacity, and excellent one-versus-one skill to the offensive line."
Lydon, a goalkeeper, was a four-year starter at Seneca Valley H.S. in Harmony, Pa. She helped the team to a 59-12 3 record during those four years, with a total of 30 shutouts and a goals-against average of 0.96. Lydon helped her school win its first-ever Western Pennsylvania Interscholastic Athletic League (WPIAL) championship as a freshman, and the team captured another WPIAL title as a junior. She had a GAA of 0.75 as a sophomore, and posted a record of 22-1-1 and a GAA of 0.71 in her junior season. Lydon twice earned WPIAL All-Section honors. She has club experience with both the Beadline Soccer Club and Century United, helping the former club to PA West state championships in three-straight years.
"Keara is expected to bring great talent to the program," said Richards. "She will ensure that we have tremendous competition for the starting goalkeeper spot."

"The Falcons are very excited to add Kenzie's grit and determination to the team, as well as her maturity and competitive instincts as a player," said Richards. "We look forward to working with her over the next four years."
Thompson, a midfielder/forward, hails from Seton H.S. in CIncinnati. She earned All-Girls Greater Catholic League (GGCL) Second-Team honors as a senior, after scoring seven goals and adding eight assists. Thompson returned to the Seton program as a senior after playing for two years with the Ohio Elite Soccer Academy fall team. She also lettered in basketball during her high-school career, and was on Honor Roll in all four years. Thompson played her club ball for Tri-State Futbol Alliance.
"Lindsey will bring composure and great passing ability to the Falcon midfield," said Richards. "We expect that she will add a great deal to the program's attacking options."
Yondo, a midfielder, is a senior at Caledonia H.S. in Caledonia, Mich. She earned all-conference, all-district, all-region and all-state honors as a senior. She was team captain for both her high-school team and her club team, the Grand Rapids Crew Juniors.
