Scott Thomas Named NABC All-District

Kansas City, Mo. – Bowling Green State University junior forward Scott Thomas was named second team all-district by the National Association of Basketball Coaches (NABC).

Thomas is one of the most versatile players in the Mid-American Conference and was the only player in the conference to rank in the top 10 in the league in both rebounding (6.7 per game) and assists (3.5 per game). He also ranked third in the conference in steals and was second on the team in scoring, averaging 11.2 points per game. Her 65 steals tied for the fifth-most in a single-season in program history. He was named All-MAC Honorable Mention for the second consecutive season.

Thomas joined Miami's Julian Mavunga, Buffalo's Byron Mulkey, Central Michigan's Trey Ziegler, and Buffalo's Zach Filzen on the second team. Kent State's Justin Greene, Northern Illinois' Xavier Silas, Eastern Michigan's Brandon Bowdry, Ohio's D.J. Cooper, and Ball State's Jarrod Jones were selected to the first team.
