Baseball Holds Alumni Golf Outing

On Saturday (Oct. 6), the Bowling Green State University baseball team held their alumni golf outing. The outing featured 27 foursomes, with alumni ranging from members of the 1972 championship team (Gary Haas), to the 2012 team (Matt Malewitz). The event was organized and run by former Falcons Dave Barkholz, Andy Hudak, Kyle Knoblaugh, and Greg Becker. It was held at Riverby Hills Golf Club in Waterville, Ohio.
"On behalf of BGSU baseball and all of the baseball families, I would like to thank everyone that supported our golf outing this past Saturday at Riverby Golf Course. Seeing over 40 years of Falcon baseball history was very special, and sharing memories of your days here at BGSU is truly special. These memories will stay with me for a lifetime. We would like to thank all of the donors that were so generous with the prizes, food, beverages, etc. These all enhanced the outing greatly. A special thanks to Dave & Rachel Barkholz, Andy & Stacey Hudak, Greg & Brittney Becker, Kyle Knoblaugh, Sara Badenhop, and Scot Bressler for all of your hard work in bringing this outing together. NOTE: This weekend (Oct. 13) the 1972 and 2002 MAC championship baseball teams will be recognized during the football game vs. Miami. The game is scheduled for a 3:30 pm kickoff.
