The tourney field includes DePaul, Indiana, Iowa State, Louisville, Marquette, Notre Dame and Penn State, in addition to the Falcons and host Western Michigan. Play is slated to begin with doubles matches at 10:00 a.m. on Friday, followed by singles play at 1:30 p.m.
Participants are slated to play one round of singles and doubles on both Friday and Saturday (Nov. 10). Doubles play gets underway at 9:00 a.m. on Saturday, with singles matches scheduled to start at noon. Sunday's (Nov. 11) action will begin at 9:00 a.m.
Dean and the Falcons have been idle from competition for nearly a month. BGSU last played at the Toledo Invitational on Oct. 12-13, where Falcon individuals combined to go 21-5 on the weekend. Team scores were not kept, but the event utilized a hidden-dual format, and BG would have defeated each of the other three teams – UT, Detroit and Duquesne – had traditional scoring been used.
