BGSU To Close Season At Buffalo On SportsTime Ohio
February 16, 2012 | Men's Basketball
Cleveland, Ohio – The Mid-American Conference and SportsTime Ohio have announced that Bowling Green's men's basketball game at Buffalo to conclude the regular season will take place on Saturday, March 3 at 6 p.m. and will be televised by STO.
The contest will be the fifth time that Bowling Green has appeared on STO during the 2011-12 season. The Falcons are 2-1 in such contests with two yet to be played. BGSU also appeared on ESPNU and on the Big Ten Network this year for a total of seven national/regional telecasts.
Buffalo and Bowling Green are two of the top five teams in the MAC standings. The Bulls are tied for second, while the Falcons hold sole possession of fifth place. When the two teams met earlier this year in the Stroh Center, BGSU's attempted game-tying shot was blocked as time ran out to give the Bulls a 68-66 win.
Bowling Green is 13-12 on the season and 7-5 in MAC play. Buffalo is 16-7 overall and 9-3 in conference action.
