Falcon Swimmers Prepare for US Olympic Trials

Kain & Rom meet with media Wednesday afternoon
Three Bowling Green State University swimmers are preparing for a trip to Omaha, Neb., for the US Olympic Trials. Alexis Kain, Amanda Rom and Alexa Harris all have qualified for the meet, which begins on June 25.
On Wednesday afternoon (June 20), Kain and Rom took time to meet with several members of the local media at Cooper Pool. A video interview is located at the bottom of this page.

Additionally, television and web-streaming information for the US Olympic Trials has been released. The fastest three heats of preliminaries in each event will be broadcast each day on NBC Sports Network (formerly Versus). They will be taped and air as follows:
June 25 -- 6:30 - 8:00 p.m. (all timea are ET)
June 26 -- 6:30 - 8:00 p.m.
June 27 -- 7:00 - 8:00 p.m.
June 28 -- 4:30 - 5:30 p.m.
June 29 -- 4:30 - 6:00 p.m.
June 30 -- 6:30 - 8:00 p.m.
July 1 -- 6:00 - 7:00 p.m.
The NBC shows (finals) will air from 8:00 - 9:00 p.m. ET from June 25 - July 1. On July 2, the show will run from 8:00 - 8:30 p.m.
