Kain, Rom will be blogging from Omaha

Three Bowling Green State University swimmers will be competing in the US Olympic Team Trials this week. Alexa Harris, Alexis Kain and Amanda Rom will be in Omaha, Neb., looking to qualify for the Olympic squad.

Kain and Rom qualified in the 100-meter breaststroke, and will compete on Tuesday (June 26). The semifinals of the event will be held Tuesday evening, with the finals set for Wednesday night (June 27).

Harris will be competing in the 200-meter backstroke, and will swim on Saturday (June 30). The semifinals in the 200 back are set for Saturday evening, with the finals scheduled for Sunday (July 1).

The 2012 U.S. Olympic Team Trials will be held at the CenturyLink Center in Omaha.
