Falcon Swimming Receives Scholar All-America Recognition

Bowling Green State University has been named a Scholar All-America Team by the College Swimming Coaches Association of America (CSCAA) for academic success attained during the Spring 2012 semester.
The CSCAA presented Scholar All-America Team awards to over 400 college and university teams spanning all divisions of the NCAA, as well as NAIA and NJCAA. In order to qualify, a team must have achieved a cumulative grade-point average of 3.0 or higher during the spring semester.
The Falcons of head coach Petra Martin were ranked 26th among all NCAA Division-I programs, with a GPA of 3.45 during the ranking period. BGSU had the second-highest GPA among Mid-American Conference teams.
