BGSU women's basketball student-athletes will be at the Stroh celebration as well as the Black Swamp Festival
The Bowling Green State University women's basketball players will be appearing at several events this weekend in the BG community, on campus Saturday and downtown on Sunday.
The Falcon student-athletes and coaches will be at the Stroh Center on Saturday (Sept. 8), as BGSU holds a celebration for the one-year anniversary of the building. The event will take place in the Falcon Spirit Plaza, located outside of the main ticket lobby, from 5-6 p.m. Fans are invited to mingle with fellow Falcon fans, as well as members of the BGSU men's and women's basketball programs, and enjoy cake and punch prior to heading to Perry Stadium for the football team's home opener vs. Idaho.
Then, on Sunday (Sept. 9), the women's basketball players and coaches will be volunteering at the tie-dye T-shirt kids station at the Black Swamp Arts Festival from 12:45 to 3:15 p.m. The tie-dye T-shirt kids station is located on the north end of Main Street. Kids of all ages can come meet and greet the team and make a T-shirt.
BGSU women's basketball fans are also reminded that the deadline is fast approaching for the team's annual golf outing at the Bowling Green Country Club on Sept. 16. The deadline to register is this Sunday (Sept. 9), and more information is available by clicking here.
